The arrival of Jason's city girlfriend, Vanessa Andrews, complicates matters further, leading to misunderstandings and a heated argument. Feeling guilty and confused, Jason leaves the town, hoping to restore the peace Carrie values so much. However, their time apart only strengthens their feelings. They realize their lives were more enriched when together. Missing each other and the shared experiences, Jason returns to the small town. Declaring his love for Carrie, he expresses his desire to move to the town permanently, start a new life, and continue his writing there. Carrie, equally in love with Jason, is delighted. The couple, now united, run the bookstore together, contributing to their town's charm. The film ends on a happy note with the townsfolk cheering for their union and the pair walking hand-in-hand into the sunset, ready to start their life together. JASON'S APARTMENT - NIGHT Jason's agent, MARTIN, is trying to convince him to start his next thriller, but Jason admits he needs a break and some inspiration. ________________________________________ ACT 1 - SCENE 4: EXT. SMALL TOWN - DAY Jason arrives in the small town. He's greeted by TOM, the friendly local baker who immediately recognizes him and is excited about having a celebrity author in town. ________________________________________ ACT 1 - SCENE 6: INT. CARRIE'S BOOKSTORE - DAY Jason and Carrie make a pact to read each other's suggestions. EVELYN, an elderly regular, teases them about their blossoming friendship. ________________________________________ ACT 2 - SCENE 4: INT. JASON'S RENTAL COTTAGE - NIGHT Jason starts writing a new story.
