ALICE, early 30s, city-girl with a heart for adventure, struggles to wake up. ________________________________________ INT. CAFE - MORNING Alice, in her barista apron, serves coffee with flair and a smile. An older gentleman, MR. HARRIS, teases Alice. MR. HARRIS Alice, when are you finally going to make a trip to my sea-side town? ALICE One day, Mr. Harris, one day... ________________________________________ EXT. CAFE - MORNING Alice finds an envelope tucked under her car's windshield wiper. It's an eviction notice. ________________________________________ INT. CAFE - AFTERNOON Alice tells her best friend, BELLA, about the eviction. Bella suggests Alice take a vacation. BELLA You know what, Alice? You deserve a break. Why not take Mr. Harris up on his offer? ________________________________________ EXT. SEA-SIDE TOWN - DAY Alice, with her suitcase in tow, takes in the serene sea-side town. She sees BEN, late 30s, handsome, a bit rugged but with a warm smile, working on his boat. ________________________________________ EXT. SEA-SIDE TOWN - NIGHT Alice struggles to set up her tent on the beach. Ben, passing by, offers his help. ________________________________________ EXT.
